General
Talavera and Mediterraneo tiles are suitable for the following indoor/outdoor applications: backsplashes, walls, stair risers, showers, mosaics, benches, tables, lightly used counters, etc.
They are not recommended for kitchen counter tops. (heavy use)
Glazed Mexican tiles are not appropriate for high traffic areas, however they may be used as accent inserts or borders.
Mexican tiles must be cut with a wet saw.
They are not suitable for snow/ice conditions (freeze/thaw).
Talavera tiles are available in 6x6, 4x4 and 2x2, however Mediterraneo tiles are only available in 4x4.
Talavera and Mediterraneo tiles have unique handmade characteristics which include mild variations in color, size and surface contour. Note: These characteristics are not flaws or defects, but inherent qualities of handcrafted Mexican tiles.
Ordering
This is a handmade product with variations in color and design. It is recommended that all tiles be purchased at one time to insure product similarity. It is customary to order 10% more than needed.
Before you order a large quantity we recommend purchasing a sample to insure that it meets your design and color requirements.

Shipping
We ship worldwide using UPS, but can make other accommodations as necessary.
You may estimate shipping costs using www.ups.com, or email us for a quote.
If any tiles are damaged in shipment, contact us immediately. We will replace at no cost.
To insure tiles arrive safely requires time and packing material. Therefore, a packing fee will be applied depending on the quantity ordered. See chart below:
